Destiny draws much of its appeal through its unique hybrid genre combining first-person shooter, role-playing game, and massive-multiplayer online elements all into one game. This structure ultimately relies upon various online platforms which create an evolving social environment for players, absent any formal direction. As such, it begs the question, to what extent do game designers and players create order within the game?
