NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will also be deposed in free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick's collusion case against the NFL, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a league source.

Along with owner Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, Goodell and at least two league executives will be asked to make available cell phone records and emails relating to Kaepernick.

Troy Vincent, executive vice president of football operations, and Arthur McAfee, senior vice president of player engagement, are believed to be the two executives involved. Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen and San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York are also expected to be deposed.

Kaepernick filed a grievance in October, alleging team owners have colluded to keep him out of the league.
