Report: Packers' Jones out 3-6 weeks with MCL injury
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones is expected to miss three-to-six weeks with an injured MCL, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
The rookie left Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears and had an MRI scheduled for Monday.
Jones took over starting duties when Ty Montgomery suffered an injury in Week 5. He's played in parts of six games and has racked up 70 carries for 370 yards and three rushing scores.
Montgomery also picked up an injury Sunday, exiting the game with a rib ailment. The extent of his injury has yet to be determined.
Jones' fellow rookie running back Jamaal Williams finished Sunday's game and led the Packers with 20 rushes for 67 yards. He'd be in line to start if Montgomery is also forced to miss time.
