Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib spoke candidly Monday about his ongoing feud with Oakland Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree.

For the second time in as many years, Talib snatched Crabtree's chain, leading to both of their ejections.

Crabtree had apparently prepared for Talib, taping the chain to himself before the game, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, but the Broncos cornerback got it anyways.

Talib downplayed his role in the incident, inferring that Crabtree was the aggressor.

"I came out there to play football on Sunday," Talib said via NFL.com. "I really don't know what he came out there to do. I just came out there to play football. He came out here on his extra stuff - one thing led to another, man. It's unfortunate. I wish it didn't happen, but it happened."

Talib also spoke up for teammate Chris Harris, who alleged that Crabtree punched him in the stomach one play prior to his ejection.

"If you see the play, I didn't defend Chris," Talib said. "He punched Chris, next play he came (and) punched me. So, I mean, so he was on whatever he was on. So, I wasn't even defending Chris this time, it wasn't a problem."

Talib and Crabtree's feud has breathed life into a rivalry that had grown dormant, with the Broncos and Raiders woefully underperforming this season.
