Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin shared his appreciation for NFL owners pledging to fund a series of social activism programs over the next seven years.

#Seahawks Doug Baldwin on the owners providing funding for social activism endeavors deemed important to players.

"Is it perfect? No. It's a negotiation. Honestly I have to tip my hat to the NFL, to the commissioner, because they didn't have to do anything." pic.twitter.com/UnPxwUOEr9

San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid came out last week bashing the owners' agreement, claiming it was just a shifting of funds that had been going toward programs such as breast cancer awareness and Salute to Service.

Baldwin points to the owners "not stipulating that players have to stop demonstrating (during the national anthem)," and he encourages his fellow players to continue to do so.
