Report: Peterson unlikely to play vs. Titans due to neck injury
by from on (#3A5Y8)
Running back Adrian Peterson is likely to miss his second straight game Sunday when the Arizona Cardinals take on the Tennessee Titans due to an ailing neck, a source told Josina Anderson of ESPN.
The injury, which forced Peterson to miss last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, doesn't require surgery, according to Anderson.
The 32-year-old has rushed for 448 yards and two touchdowns in six games since being acquired by the Cardinals, averaging 3.5 yards per carry.
Arizona owns a 5-7 record and sits third in the NFC West.
