Calais Campbell may win Defensive Player of the Year in his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it won't be his only reward for his play in Florida.

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry officially proclaimed the defensive end "Mayor of Sacksonville" on Friday.

Campbell has recorded 12.5 sacks, and the Jaguars lead the league with 45, as their defense continues to be one of the year's major storylines.

At 8-4, Jacksonville is well-positioned to make the playoffs for the first time since 2007. That's due in large part to Campbell's efforts, which certainly aren't going unnoticed.
