Report: Bills expected to start Peterman with Taylor battling knee injury
It appears Nathan Peterman will get another chance as the starting quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, as a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter the rookie will get the nod against the Indianapolis Colts with Tyrod Taylor questionable due to a knee injury.
Peterman will certainly be hoping to avoid a repeat of his first career start a couple weeks ago against the Los Angeles Chargers, as the 23-year-old threw five interceptions in his first 14 passes and was pulled from the contest. Taylor was reinserted into the lineup but injured his knee in last week's 23-3 loss to the Patriots.
The Bills are only one game out of the playoff race in the AFC, and with the lowly Colts in Buffalo on Sunday, a win is a must to keep their postseason chances alive.
