Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a concussion, head coach Mike McCarthy announced Thursday.
Adams suffered the injury on a helmet-to-helmet hit from Thomas Davis in Week 15. The Carolina Panthers linebacker was suspended one game.
The Packers will try to play spoiler against Minnesota, with their own playoff chances over and Aaron Rodgers shut down for the rest of the campaign.
Despite Rodgers missing eight games, Adams has taken another big step in his development, catching 74 passes for 885 yards and 10 touchdowns.
