Gurley: Fantasy owners donating to my charity 'means a lot'
A trend that caught on among some victorious fantasy football managers has also caught the eye of Todd Gurley.
Most fantasy football championships were decided in Week 16, when most games took place on Christmas Eve. Some members of the media suggested that fantasy owners donate a portion of their league winnings to a charity supported by one of the players who helped them win.

The Los Angeles Rams running back had a very productive season, making his charity the recipient of many unexpected donations over the holidays. Gurley shared screenshots of some of the donations on Twitter.

Asked about the donations Thursday, Gurley again expressed his gratitude.
"Man, that was dope. That was really cool," Gurley said, according to ESPN's Alden Gonzalez. "It doesn't matter what the money amount is - $10, $5, 25 - just to see that and have people that care, that means a lot."
