Eagles enter playoffs as top-seeded underdog

The Philadelphia Eagles were handed the ultimate show of disrespect.
The top seed in the NFC enters their divisional playoff game against the No. 6 seed Atlanta Falcons as 2.5-point underdogs, according to the Westgate Las Vegas Sportsbook.
It's the first time a top seed will enter the playoffs as an underdog since the stat was tracked in 1975, according to ESPN.
The Eagles lost MVP candidate Carson Wentz to a torn ACL in Week 14 and since the quarterback went down, the Eagles have gone 2-1. The lone loss was a shutout at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys in a meaningless Week 17 matchup.
