Howard Stern’s superagent is getting with the program

Don Buchwald - or "superagent Don Buchwald," as he is known to listeners of "The Howard Stern Show" - was giving a nostalgic tour of the Friars Club on a Thursday night last month. On the third floor of the club, housed in a 1909 German Renaissance mansion in midtown Manhattan, Buchwald looked around the Ed Sullivan Room, its panelled walls painted white and minimally decorated with head shots of people such as Carol Burnett and Steve Allen. This is the room Buchwald used in the 1970s as a makeshift office to meet with clients.
