Minnesota governor paid $6K for his Super Bowl ticket
Minnesota governor Mark Dayton had to pay for his Super Bowl LII ticket just like everyone else.
Dayton's office told reporters Wednesday that he paid $6,000 through an internet broker for the ticket, though it's unclear where he'll be sitting.
"It was fair market value, although it's gone up (since)," Dayton said of the price, according to Dave Orrick of the Pioneer Press.
Dayton purchased the ticket before the NFC Championship Game and said he's disappointed the hometown Vikings won't be playing.
When asked whether he'll be cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles or New England Patriots, Dayton shook his head and mumbled something before adding, "I'll be there."
