Let's conclude by circling back to Trump. Semin is upset because some people are equating Trump (who he despises) with Peron (who he admires). I'm vaguely sympathetic to part of his argument. He's right that Trump's version of populism is not the same as Peron's left-wing version of populism (basically the Bernie Sanders agenda). But since I care about the less fortunate, I have nothing for disdain for Semin's assertion that Peron's policies should be adopted in America.
