The Houston Texans fancy a pair of former New England Patriots.

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien spent five years on the Patriots' coaching staff, and now Houston is making a push for impending free-agent left tackle Nate Solder, reports John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. The team is also showing interest in corner Malcolm Butler, a source told Michael Giardi of NBC Sports Boston.

Offensive line and corner are significant areas of need for the Texans and they're eyeing the top players available at those positions.

Solder spent the first seven years of his career in Foxboro and is considered the best tackle available in free agency. Butler has spent four seasons with the Patriots and helped them attain two championships. He was, however, famously benched for Super Bowl LII.
