LETTER: Seniors can claim transit fees on tax return

In doing tax returns at our volunteer income tax clinics, we're finding seniors aren't aware HSR and DARTS public transit expenses are a refundable tax credit. It began last July to help all seniors with public transit costs, no matter their income level.
