The Grand River Conservation Authority is seeking nominations for watershed heroes - individuals, families, groups and businesses who put their time and energy into improving the Grand River watershed - in two award categories: Honour Roll, for environmental achievement over an extended time; and Watershed, for outstanding environmental work. Nominations deadline: May 1. Winners will be awarded in October. More at www.grandriver.ca/awards.
