Johnny Manziel is considered by some to be one of the biggest draft busts in recent years.

The 22nd overall pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2014 draft says the team deserves a share of that blame.

"If Cleveland did any of their homework they would have known I wasn't a guy who came in every day and watch film. I wasn't a guy who really knew the X's and O's of football," Manziel told Dan Patrick on Wednesday, according to Andrew Perloff of Sports Illustrated.

Manziel said he didn't understand the pro offense coming out of Texas A&M and there wasn't anyone in the Browns' quarterback room available to help him.

Veterans Brian Hoyer and Josh McCown led the team in passing attempts in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Manziel played in five games in 2014 and nine games in 2015, and has spent the past two years out of the league.
