Suh: Playing with Aaron Donald didn't influence decision to sign with Rams
The opportunity to form one of the most decorated defensive tackle tandems in NFL history with Aaron Donald didn't factor into Ndamukong Suh's decision to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.
"I wouldn't say it made (the decision) easier," Suh told reporters at his introductory press conference, when asked about uniting with the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. "I think it's definitely a plus. There's a guy that's at a very elite level."
Suh - who was released three years into a mega deal with the Miami Dolphins in the middle of March - inked a one-year contract with the Rams on Friday, reportedly worth $14 million.

The five-time Pro Bowler received several longer-term offers from other teams, but chose to sign on instead with the defending NFC West champions for a single season.
"For me, how I look at is I want to prove myself," the 31-year-old said of his decision to take a one-year deal. "And I think they want me to come in here and prove myself that I'm worthy of being here and staying here for the long stay."
Even if Suh returns to All-Pro form in 2018, it could be difficult for the Rams to keep him beyond next season. Los Angeles has several younger stars approaching free agency, including Donald, who's expected to command one of the richest contracts ever given to a defensive player.
Suh registered 47 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles with the Dolphins last season. His sack total was the second-lowest of his career, but he still consistently attracted double-teams in the trenches.
