The Broncos' bus, carrying 29 people, was involved in a crash with a transport truck on Friday while en route to a Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League playoff game. As of Saturday evening, 15 deaths had been confirmed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Marcus Stroman, the starting pitcher for the Blue Jays on Saturday, also wrote "Humboldt Broncos" on his hat, along with "SK" - the abbreviation for the province of Saskatchewan where the Broncos play.
