Last month, before thousands of attendees at his "Unleash the Power Within" seminar in San Jose, self-help guru Tony Robbins maligned the #MeToo movement as an indulgence in "victimhood" and a misguided attempt by women to "try to get significance." After a video of his confrontation with sexual abuse survivor Nanine McCool went viral, Robbins apologized: In spite of his 40 years "working with victims of abuse all over the world," he tweeted, "I need to get connected to the brave women of #MeToo."
