Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard confirmed Saturday he turned down multiple trade offers for Andrew Luck at last season's trade deadline, prior to the team placing the quarterback on injured reserve due to a lingering shoulder problem.

Colts owner Jim Irsay hinted earlier Saturday the team had "unprecedented offers" on the table for Luck, but Ballard said he had no interest in being the man who shipped off the franchise pivot, regardless of the price.

"Look, we had some calls last year at the trade deadline," Ballard said, according to Andrew Walker of the team's official website. "And I just - come on man. I'm not taking those seriously.

"We're not trading Andrew Luck. I'm not putting that on my resume."

Luck has yet to be cleared to resume throwing following a major setback in November, though he participated in a limited capacity in voluntary veteran minicamp last week.

However, Irsay again emphasized the team is certain Luck will be ready for the start of the 2018 campaign.
