Hamilton Conservation Authority is warning that dogs are welcome at all conservation areas as long as they are kept on leash. After several incidents this year in which visitors and staff were bitten, threatened or attacked by off-leash dogs, HCA staff and bylaw will patrol certain areas. Violators could face charges or be banned from conservation areas.
