Uh-oh! Darnold fumbles opening snaps in 1st Jets practice

Hopefully, he was just paying homage to those who came before him because Sam Darnold looked more like Christian Hackenberg and Mark Sanchez than a potential franchise quarterback in his first New York Jets practice.

The No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft fumbled his very first snap in 11-on-11 drills at rookie camp Friday and fumbled another snap a couple plays later.

The USC product also took two sacks in the opening round of 11-of-11.
