Roquan Smith gets most of stolen items back - but not Bears' playbook iPad
Chicago Bears rookie linebacker Roquan Smith recently endured every new employee's worst nightmare when several of his personal items, including a team-issued iPad, were stolen from his car Saturday.
Smith announced Wednesday on Twitter that most of the items had been returned, though the Athens-Clarke County Police Department confirmed to NFL.com's Herbie Teope that the iPad hadn't been recovered.

"I would personally like to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers as Athens-Clarke County Police Department worked very hard to identify the individual responsible for this," Smith said. "It was definitely huge. I would also like to thank many of you that spread information on various social media outlets. ..
"Due to the prompt attention ... I was able to recover most of my items as well as the individual being identified."
NFL teams are prepared for players losing their iPads. The Bears remotely wiped the device, so even though it wasn't returned, none of the team's information was compromised.
Athens-Clarke County police confirmed a suspect has been identified, but did not release the name.
