Raiders' Penn won't be charged in domestic violence case
Oakland Raiders left tackle Donald Penn will not be charged in relation to a domestic violence incident involving his wife, a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office confirmed to TMZ Sports.
Penn and his wife, Dominique, denied they were involved in a physical altercation after law enforcement was called to their home April 29. The couple is in the process of a divorce.
"The office rejected this case because of lack of corroboration and on the ground that there is no reasonable likelihood of conviction on the domestic violence matter," the spokesman said
"Bottom line, lack of sufficient evidence."
According to the police report, Penn slapped his wife's backside, grabbed her by the wrist, and poured a drink over her head during an argument.
