Free-agent wide receiver Brandon Marshall is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, according to Jordan Ranaan of ESPN.

Marshall was released by the New York Giants in mid-April with a failed physical designation.

Marshall played just the first five games of last season before being shut down due to an ankle injury. The 12-year veteran had recorded 18 receptions for 154 yards and no touchdowns prior to the injury.

He had signed a two-year, $11-million contract with the team as a free agent last offseason.

The Seahawks may be looking for receiver help as a result of losing Paul Richardson to the Washington Redskins in free agency this offseason. They also lost tight end Jimmy Graham to the Green Bay Packers and failed to seriously address either position in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett, and Marcus Johnson currently front the Seahawks' receiving corps.
