Falcons' Quinn expects Julio to show up for mandatory workouts

Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn expects star wide receiver Julio Jones to attend team workouts once they become mandatory in June, he told reporters, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Jones was absent from the start of voluntary organized team activities Tuesday, and reportedly wants a new contract. Quinn said he's maintained regular contact with the 29-year-old, who's widely regarded as one of the top wideouts in the game.

Jones still has three years remaining on his contract, but has seen less productive pass-catchers sign more lucrative deals than his in recent times.
