Seahawks' Carroll expects Thomas back for minicamp
The Seattle Seahawks expect star safety Earl Thomas to report for mandatory minicamp, head coach Pete Carroll said Thursday, according to the Seattle Times' Bob Condotta.
Carroll said he has been in contact with Thomas, reiterating that organized team activities are indeed voluntary. The veteran defensive back has skipped offseason workouts thus far in hopes of a contract extension.

Earlier this month, Seahawks general manager John Schneider said he believes Thomas wants to stay despite trade rumblings.
Seattle reportedly listened to at least two offers for Thomas this offseason and sought a second-rounder for the six-time Pro Bowler. The safety has just one year remaining on his deal.
