This week, American President Donald Trump imposed hefty tariffs on steel and aluminum imports into the U.S. from the Canada, Mexico and the European Union. Hamilton steelmakers - which make 43 per cent of Canada's steel - have a huge stake in what is starting to develop into a trade war. Steel expert Peter Warrian, from the University of Toronto Munk School of Global Affairs, shared his thoughts on how he thinks the days and weeks ahead will play out.
