Riding profile: Niagara West

This new riding was created in 2017 to follow the boundaries of its federal counterpart. It includes portions of the former ridings of Niagara West - Glanbrook (once home to former PC leader Tim Hudak), Niagara Centre and St. Catharines. PC candidate Sam Oosterhoff won a byelection for Niagara West-Glanbrook in 2016 when he was 19 and became the youngest person elected to Queen's Park. He faces a few other 20-somethings to take the newly drawn riding.
