Despite an underwhelming end to his tenure in Indianapolis, Chuck Pagano is chomping at the bit for another coaching opportunity.

"I'm young. I'm 57 years old. I've got a couple years left in me," the former Colts coach said Wednesday on "Good Morning Football," according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. "I've got unfinished business. I'd love to have another opportunity. I just love being around the guys, being on grass and competing."

Pagano spent six seasons in Indy. The Colts made the playoffs in each of his first three years (he missed most of his first season while battling cancer), but in none of his final three.

Perhaps he was just being self-deprecating, but Pagano acknowledged Monday that quarterback Andrew Luck often covered up for his shortcomings as a coach.

"He got me more years than I probably deserved," Pagano said of Luck, who didn't play in 2017 because of a shoulder injury.

Pagano reportedly spoke with the Baltimore Ravens about their defensive coordinator vacancy in January but didn't come away with the gig.
