Booming sales of "wonky" fruit and vegetables have helped Morrisons secure its position as the fastest-growing of the UK's big four supermarkets.
The Bradford-based chain increased sales by 1.9% in the three months to 17 June, as sales of misshapen or smaller vegetables - which the chain sells at a lower price as a way of cutting down waste - more than tripled, according to Kantar Worldpanel, a consultant.
