With NFL training camps less than two weeks away, the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are set to begin their title defense.

The team has its fair share of doubters, however, including former New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo, who questioned how Pederson's squad would handle success.

Philadelphia's coach understands there are a number of challenges ahead following his Super Bowl LII victory, but claims his team is hungrier than ever.

"Quite honestly, complacency can set in," Pederson said, via NBC Sports Philadelphia's Dave Zangaro. "You can skip an OTA, you can maybe skip a workout or whatever. But what I saw from our players was not that. Our players showed up for OTAs, they spent time getting themselves ready."

"So now we've got the targets on our backs and we're going to embrace that and get ready this training camp and we are going to try to defend," he added. "But at the same time, we're going to take it one week at a time and build the season just like we did last year."

If history is any indication, the Eagles will have their work cut out for them. No team has repeated as NFC East champions since Philadelphia won four straight from 2001 to 2004.
