Ontario’s chief coroner testifies at Elizabeth Wettlaufer inquiry

Ontario's death investigations system is still not ideally equipped to pick up on patterns of unusual deaths in long-term care homes due to lack of compliance with existing regulations and gaps in those rules that allow cases to fall through the cracks, the province's chief coroner said Monday.
