The ‘Chart of the Century’ Makes the Rounds at the Federal Reserve

During the period from January 1997 to June 2018, the CPI for All Items increased by 57.4 percent and the chart displays the relative price increases over that time period for 15 selected consumer goods and services, and for average hourly earnings.
