Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license Sunday in Strongsville, Ohio, according to police reports obtained by ESPN.

According to the police reports, Callaway was pulled over for a traffic violation at 2:59 a.m. Sunday, and the arresting officer discovered "a small amount" of marijuana under the driver's seat.

The amount of marijuana found was small enough to be regarded as a minor misdemeanor under Ohio law, according to deputy chief John Janowski.

As NFL Network's Ian Rapoport notes, Callaway was on the field Tuesday at the team's facility in Berea.

"We are aware of the citation (and) are in the process of gathering more information and will comment further at the appropriate time,'' the Browns said in a statement, via Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot.

Callaway, Cleveland's fourth-round draft choice in 2018, came with a number of off-field red flags from his time at Florida. The receiver was suspended before his final season with the Gators for involvement in a credit card fraud case. He sat out the entire 2017 campaign.

After declaring for the NFL draft, Callaway tested positive for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine.

The young pass-catcher was set to play a key role for the Browns as a rookie after the team traded Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills.
