Report: Beckham not expected to play in preseason opener

Odell Beckham Jr. is not expected to play in the New York Giants' preseason opener Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns, barring a change of mind, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported, citing sources.
Beckham's last action took place in October 2017, when he fractured his ankle in a Week 5 game and missed the rest of the season.
Teammates have said Beckham appears to be at full health.
It should be noted the receiver suffered an ankle injury in a preseason game against the Browns last year. The injury held him out for the final two exhibition contests and Week 1 of the regular season.
