Browns' Bitonio sets straight pronunciation of Tyrod Taylor's name
Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joel Bitonio has clarified the pronunciation of teammate Tyrod Taylor's first name, and it's not what most believed it to be since he entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2011.
This is how good of a teammate LT Joel Bitonio is. He told me Tyrod Taylor's name is actually pronounced TUH-rod, not TY-rod. And that while Taylor may be too nice to correct people, HE feels it's important to get it right. From here on out, I will. #Browns

Taylor has made himself well known to football fans since joining the Buffalo Bills for the beginning of the 2015 season. He made the Pro Bowl in his first year as a starting quarterback after backing up the Ravens' Joe Flacco for his first four years in the league.
He has career totals of 9,056 passing yards, 51 touchdowns to just 18 interceptions, and an additional 1,711 yards and 15 touchdowns as a rusher. He led the Bills to a 22-20 record over three campaigns, and even ended the franchise's lengthy playoff drought in 2017.
Bitonio has finally helped put the proper respect to Taylor's name.
