Giants' Barkley sits out practice after injury scare
It appears the New York Giants won't test the football gods with Saquon Barkley.
After the star rookie running back tweaked his leg while catching a pass in Monday's training-camp session, he was seen watching Tuesday's positional drills before leaving to spend time with trainers.

Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said the No. 2 overall pick is day to day with a "mild" strain, according to SportsNet New York, and the team will be cautious with him moving forward.
Barkley exploded for an eye-popping 39-yard run during his preseason debut. But after his injury scare, it's likely the Giants will limit his reps leading up to their regular-season opener.
