Dolphins cut DT for blindsiding Drake during altercation in practice
The Miami Dolphins laid down the law Tuesday, cutting defensive tackle Gabe Wright following an altercation in practice with starting running back Kenyan Drake, according to ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.
Wright apparently blindsided Drake while the runner's helmet was off toward the end of a fight that involved multiple other players.
Wow man...fists were flying. Gabe Wright came and punched Kenyan Drake in the face. Gase is not going to like this. pic.twitter.com/DXl60gH2im

"It's got to be within the context of doing what we're asking you to do and executing the scheme too," defensive coordinator Matt Burke said. "Just coming out here, being a jackass and running around, that doesn't help us either."
Wright was fighting to make the Dolphins' 52-man roster after spending the majority of the 2017 campaign on the practice squad.
