Twitter roasts Coleman, Browns over trade request on Hard Knocks
Tuesday's episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks" opened with a feel-good story about former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Corey Coleman's intention to donate shoes to people in need, before quickly taking a turn south. The storyline ended with Coleman's request for a trade after confronting head coach Hue Jackson about his work with the second-team offense.
Seemingly immediately after, Coleman, the No. 15 pick of the 2016 draft, was shipped to the Buffalo Bills for a seventh-round pick in 2020.
Twitter quickly reacted to the situation.
Via #HardKnocks Corey Coleman confronted Hue Jackson about running 2nd team. Hue said "Go ask Todd [Haley]" Coleman responded "if you don't want me to play why don't y'all just trade me"

Two minutes in to #HardKnocksHBO and I can NOT believe the Browns traded down to draft Corey Coleman instead of just taking @cj_wentz.

I have a feeling that Corey Coleman scene in Hue's Office got uglier than they let us see. Probably went to another couple offices as well. They wanted him gone ASAP.

Seventh-round pick suddenly looking like generous compensation for Corey Coleman. #HardKnocks

Now I see why the Browns traded Corey Coleman to the Bills for a sack of potatoes . #HardKnocks

Corey Coleman should've been traded the moment he showed some Jordan 4's and said, "these the 3's right here"
