Browns' Taylor dislocated pinky vs. Eagles

The hand injury that caused Cleveland Browns quarterback Tyrod Taylor to briefly exit Thursday's preseason game versus the Philadelphia Eagles included a dislocated left pinky, head coach Hue Jackson confirmed Friday.

Jackson added that Taylor's hand is bruised and sore, but said the veteran pivot is "going to be fine," according to Andrew Gribble of ClevelandBrowns.com.

Taylor, who returned to the game after the injury, went 11 of 16 for 65 yards in an affair Cleveland won 5-0. The 29-year-old has a stranglehold on the Browns' starting job over No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield.

Taylor threw for 2,799 yards with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions for the Buffalo Bills last season.
