Senator John McCain is dead

After announcing yesterday that the Arizona Senator and American war hero was discontinuing his treatment for glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, John Sidney McCain III has died. Senator McCain's office released this statement just moments ago. McCain served in Congress for 36 years and spent five years in the Hanoi Hilton as a POW in Vietnam.
