network-manager in xfce

Hello. I run Ubuntu 14.10. I have both Unity and xfce desktops. In Unity, there is a networking icon on the top panel (I believe it's network-manager-gnome), but this icon does not appear on the top panel of xfce, and I do not know how to get it to appear. Can someone let me know how I can get it to appear there?
