Report: Browns expected to pursue trade for Raiders' Mack
by Michael McClymont from on (#3XXE3)
The Cleveland Browns are expected to speak with the Oakland Raiders about a trade for star defensive end Khalil Mack, Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot reports, citing a league source.
Mack has been holding out from Raiders camp in pursuit of a new deal.
His holdout is expected to extend into the regular season, and the Raiders are seriously considering trading the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year, NFL Media's Jim Trotter reports.
The two-time All-Pro is currently scheduled to play on a $13-million fifth-year option in 2018 and hit free agency in 2019.
