Ex-NFLer Colton Underwood to star on next season of 'The Bachelor'

Former NFL tight end Colton Underwood is the newest Bachelor.
Underwood, who previously appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of "The Bachelorette" and the summer spinoff "Bachelor in Paradise," was revealed as the star of season 23 of "The Bachelor" on Tuesday.

Underwood, 26, went undrafted out of Illinois State in 2014. He spent three seasons with the then-San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Oakland Raiders, all as a practice-squad member.
