Bengals' Williams ejected after hit to Luck's head
Cincinnati Bengals safety Shawn Williams was ejected from Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts for a helmet-to-helmet hit on quarterback Andrew Luck.
Williams is the first player to be ejected from a game under the NFL's new rules for contact involving the helmet. Al Riveron, the league's senior vice president of officiating, confirmed the decision made by the referee.

Williams led the NFL in personal foul penalties in 2017. The 27-year-old started all 26 games he's played over the previous two seasons.
Luck stayed in the game after the play.
