The Miami Dolphins will be without one of their key offseason additions for the remainder of the 2018 season, as Pro Bowl guard Josh Sitton will require surgery for a torn rotator cuff he suffered during Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, a league source told Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.

The Dolphins signed Sitton to a two-year, $13.5-million contract this offseason. The 32-year-old had been named to four Pro Bowls as a member of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.

Sitton will be placed on injured reserve. Ted Larsen is expected to take his spot in the starting lineup.
