Report: Bills' McCoy likely out vs. Vikings with cracked rib cartilage
by Michael McClymont from on (#3ZBN3)
The Buffalo Bills are expected to be without star running back LeSean McCoy for their meeting with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
McCoy has been listed as questionable to play due to cracked rib cartilage he sustained last week. He will test the injury in pregame warmups before a decision is made.
Through two games, McCoy has just 61 yards on the ground on 16 carries. Nonetheless, his absence would be felt with rookie Josh Allen expected to garner his second career start against the No. 1-ranked defense from a year ago.
Veteran Chris Ivory would likely start in place of McCoy.
